Tambopata Jungle Tours Peru

This tour is highly recommended! Before our trip, any questions we had were answered quickly. Everything was perfectly organized—from the pickup to the drop-off at the airport. Everyone was friendly and happy to accommodate individual wishes. The food was delicious (just a little bit less). There were plenty of options for jungle adventures as well as time to relax. If you prefer to skip a particular excursion, you can simply stay in the lounge. Our room was clean and also free of insects. The entire experience felt very animal-friendly and respectful of nature, so of course there’s no guarantee you’ll spot every species. But the guides are exceptionally skilled and quick to point out even the most hidden creatures. All in all, it was a truly beautiful experience—thank you so much!

Just back from this - it was such a good trip!! We did 4 days 3 nights and a night for ayahuasca and it was just all amazing. Shout out to octavio and Sergio who were amazing guides in each of their specialities. Food was amazing, the space was simple but lovely and wow the Amazon is just incredible! Such a good price for everything you get included. We saw loads of animals too! We also got to meet lots of really cool people who were also doing the tours which was really special! Honestly, can’t recommend more!

I booked the 4D/3N Macaw Clay Lick tour with this company in advance, in English. On the day of the tour, I realized there was no English-speaking guide, and nobody in the office spoke English either. They just put me in a random van with random people. After asking around in the van where we were going, I realized it was a completely different group with a different itinerary - though at least the plan for the next day matched mine. At the lodge, there was a guide who spoke English, but he couldn’t provide much information. All he knew was that I would check out after one night. The next day, I was transferred to another lodge. I tried to get information from a French group who had booked the same trip as me - luckily, one of them spoke English. For the rest of the trip, the situation was similar: I had no assigned guide and constantly had to ask around to get basic information. I think the French group’s guide, Wilfredo, noticed what was happening and kindly tried to accommodate me, even though he wasn’t responsible for me and didn’t really speak English either (thank you, Wilfredo!). On the last day, the kayaking activity didn’t happen. Instead, we were taken to an awkward local family show. Overall, this trip was far too expensive for what I got. I believe there are much better tour operators out there.

Hacía tiempo que no me lo pasaba tan bien y todo gracias a ellos ! Alid nos enseñó y nos cuidó en todo momento, lo que nos dijo el primer día "pedirme lo que necesitéis raramente digo que no a algo" y así fue nos facilitó todo , soy de España y era mi primera vez en la selva y tenía miedo pero nada que ver con ellos todo salió super bien , seguramente repita !

La experiencia con Alid y su agencia fue A1, era la primera vez que iba a la selva y además viajaba sola y se aseguraron de cumplir con todo el itinerario pactado, yo solo me encargue de disfrutar mi estadía en Puerto Maldonado. Los recomendaría definitivamente ✨Muchas gracias!!☺️

We did the 3N/4D Discover Tambopata Tour and had a fantastic time! The guides were amazing and we were able to see so much wildlife with their help. The food was plenty and really tasty. You could hear everyone in the lodge, even people snoring! But the tour is such a reasonable price it is definitely worth it, just be aware and don’t expect 5* accommodation.
